About BeltRide

What is BeltRide?

BeltRide is a micro-mobility transportation service built to enhance connectivity and enhance how people get to and move along the Atlanta Beltline. BeltRide helps solve two main connectivity issues along the Beltline:

  • Last mile connectivity – providing convenient, short-distance rides within approximately a one-mile radius of the Beltline
  • Lack of continuity – encouraging vitality by enabling people move more seamlessly between destinations, access points, and surrounding amenities along the Beltline.

The Plan

The Atlanta Beltline is one of the nation’s premier urban redevelopment projects, transforming 22 miles of historic railway corridors and connecting 45 neighborhoods through trails, parks, economic development—and the promise of transit.

The Challenge

Today, The Beltline has become one of Atlanta’s greatest public spaces and economic engines. New destinations, businesses, residences, parks, and experiences have transformed the corridor. Yet user movement is often concentrated within individual segments. Many visitors enter at a single point, experience that section, and leave — limiting engagement with the full corridor.

That was never the complete vision.

Transit has been central to the Atlanta Beltline vision from the beginning, but with the Beltline’s 2030 completion deadline approaching, that transportation promise remains uncertain at best.

The trails are almost complete. The development has arrived. The destinations are here.

The transportation system meant to connect it all has not.

The Opportunity

The Beltline connects places, but moving between them is still difficult for many people. Destinations that are too far for a comfortable walk often require visitors to leave the corridor, get into a car, navigate traffic, find parking, and start again.

BeltRide fills that gap.

We’re not replacing the Beltline’s transportation vision.

We’re helping deliver on its promise of connectivity now.

Until the rail arrives, BeltRide.

What we do

We provide short, convenient rides that help people:

  • Move between access points
  • Reach more destinations
  • Explore more of the BeltLine in one visit

Why it matters

  • Supports local businesses
  • Reduces short car trips
  • Expands access across the corridor
  • Creates local job opportunities

Our Vision

To become the missing connectivity layer of the Beltline making it easier for people to move, explore, and experience everything it offers.
